Welcome Wagon!

“Having a mental disorder isn’t easy, and it’s even harder when people assume you can just get over it.”

— Mental Health Stigma post

Hello all and welcome to my blog on mental illness! Just a little run down for right now while we get everything sorted through and ready for active use.

  • Blog posts will be a weekly thing done mainly on the weekends. I will try my best to have blog posts posted on Sunday night of each week with this post being the exception. I will be posting a more extensive post Sunday July 14, 2019 the topic however is a surprise.
  • I WILL NOT CONDONE ANY NEGATIVITY IN MY COMMENTS ON MY BLOG! Repercussions for any negativity will result in my blog no longer having free range to comment under my posts. I really want to hear your feedback in a timely fashion so please remember your manners. This is not to say you may not have an opposing opinion. Debate is welcome under any post as long as you are constructive and dignified.
  • If you are going to or already have sent in an email or letter please understand I will respond with posts or in posts unless otherwise specified. I also would like to add that if you would like your legal name hidden from the public eye on this site that you should specify that in your letters and emails every time one is sent.
  • There will be a diversity of topics on this site all relating to the psychology and mental health fields. For example : one week could be on depression in children then the next week could be on Multiple Personality Disorder.
  • Please try to remain up to date on all regulations of this blog site. I will always post new rules/regulates with a predominantly red picture or background so it is clearly noticed.
  • Any announcements aside from new rules/ regulations will be posted with a bright pink or blue for reference.

I thank you in advance for your understanding and compliance with the simple rules of the blog. Please understand that these rules/regulations are for the safety of all my readers and my self. Some people struggle with suicidal thoughts and tendencies even though I myself do not and some of the hateful words used on the web could potentially hurt someone or force them to hurt their selves. This is an action I believe is and should be avoidable. If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts or tendencies let me just say for one, even if you feel like no one else cares I do care. The proof of this is this blog which I decided to host so I could reach out to you and others struggling. For two, I beg you with all my heart to reach out find someone to help think very closely about the effects of the life you would be taking. Think about the second, third, and fourth ripple this would cause. Please refer to my Helpful links and apps page for apps and websites to help you with these issues. For emergency use please reach out to your local law enforcement or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number. They also have a live online chat option which I have provided below as well.
